Durham Cestria U23 Player of The Season Ruby Forster has completed her switch to Boro
The 18-year-old joins as Boro Women's fifth signing of the summer and the fourth signing this week.
The highly rated old-fashioned defender won Durham Cestria's U23s Player of The Season last season, in a defence that conceded just 19 goals last season - a league-best.
With experience in the Durham Women's Pro Game Academy Ruby comes with bags of potential and is part of Boro's long-term vision.
On her addition to the squad, Michael Mulhern said: "I’m pleased to bring Ruby into Boro, She has a lot of the qualities I look for in a defender and I’m looking forward to helping her reach her potential."
"She loves a tackle and is a vintage throwback, while also having the confidence and ability to play out from the back with neat passing, just like we want to at Boro.
