Everything you need to know about US International Aidan Morris
Hailing from Florida Aidan was born on 16 November 2001.
The young American started his football career at Weston Academy before joining the Columbus Crew Academy in 2017.
He spent time on loan to Indiana Hoosiers in 2019. After his loan spell he was promoted to the Columbus Crew first team and made his debut on the 11 July 2020. The 22-year-old made 11 appearances for the club in the 2020 season and became the youngest player to start in the MLS Cup.
After an ACL injury sidelined Aidan in 2021 he bounced back and made 27 appearances in the 2022 season.
His best season came in 2023 in which he grabbed his first goal for the club against Atlanta and he would go onto score four goals from midfield in 30 league appearances helping the club lift the MLS cup at the end of that season.
Aidan leaves Columbus Crew tied for assists with six so far this season making it 15 assists during his time in the MLS.
The midfielder also made appearances for the United States under-18 and under-20 before making his senior debut against Serbia in 2023.
