Two Frankie Coulson goals and one from Charlie Lennon secured Boro's Under-18s a deserved victory at Newcastle on Saturday - but only after a dramatic finale.

Coulson opened the scoring after eight minutes and Boro continued to create the better chances.

Newcastle were reduced to 10 men on 65 minutes when Harry Powell was given a straight red for a horrible tackle on Prince Acheampong.

The hosts somehow got themselves level with 11 minutes left when Logan Watts scored with only their second shot on target - but Boro emerged winners in stoppage time.

Lennon made it 2-1 in the 92nd minute with a clean strike which went in at the near post, and moments later Coulson wrapped things up when he got on the end of a low ball into the box and converted from close range.
