Boro Women marked their return to the Riverside with an emphatic win over Doncaster Rovers Belles.
A crowd of nearly 2,000 Boro fans came to Boro Women's second game at the Riverside and saw a hatful of goals.
Michael Mulhern made two changes to his starting XI that played against Durham Cestria, bringing in Nichole Havery and Emma Foster for Faye Dale and Millie Bell.
Boro Women rose to the occasion, starting quickly and with high intensity.
Early on saw Ellen Turnbull crack off a shot, blocked for a Boro corner.
A great delivery from Lauren Robson found the head of Turnbull who thumped the ball into the back of the net to give Boro the lead just five minutes in.
Boro didn't ease up after the goal with Jess Mett and Havery linked up well to combine and haul Boro up the pitch before the final shot was blocked.
Boro continued to put on the pressure on the Belles, forcing them to hit the ball out for another Boro corner.
Robson's great delivery once again caused the Belles problems as a scramble on the goalline was put to an end by Ellen Packham smashing the ball into the back of the net to double Boro's lead.
Just minutes later Turnbull scurried her way into the box again before being brought down unfairly and winning Boro a penalty.
Captain Sarah Burn stepped over the ball and smashed it off the underside of the crossbar and just over the line for Boro's third.
Boro continued to dominate and would add one more before half-time with Jess Mett using great technique with the outside of her boot to curl the ball into the back of the net before for Boro's fourth.
Boro were very comfortable second half, showing real class on the ball and limiting the Belles to virtually nothing.
Ten minutes in saw Mulhern make his first changes, bringing on Eve Marshall and Faye Dale for Havery and Robson.
Dale and Marshall both had quick impacts, with Dale feeding in a good ball for Mett who smashed her shot over the bar.
Marshall was next as she was played in by Burn and just hit her shot wide into the side netting.
McCarthy, Maxwell, and Ruby Cook were all introduced before Turnbull added her second to make it five for Boro just as the full-time whistle went.
