Academy defender Ben Beals has joined Whitby Town on loan until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
The 20-year-old has made three appearances for our U21 side this season, while also gaining first-team experience at Marske United before the Seasiders withdrew from the NPL Premier League.
Having joined Boro at Under-9 level, Ben could be afforded his Whitby debut as soon as this evening; the Blues face FC United of Manchester aiming for successive victories.
The centre-back will link up with Academy teammate Max Howells at the Towbar Express Stadium.
