Key advice has been issued to ticket holders ahead of the upcoming Take That and James Arthur concerts at the Riverside Stadium.

Take That return to the Riverside on Friday 24 May, while James Arthur plays his homecoming gig at the stadium on Saturday 8 June. A limited number of tickets for both events remain available from Ticketmaster.

Those attending the events should take note of the four key points below when making their plans.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Zone

Car drivers will be unable to get close to the Riverside on the day of the events from 11am onwards.

A dedicated drop-off and pick-up zone will be in operation, in the Middlehaven area close to Middlesbrough College. It is a one-way system, signposted from the A66 and accessed via Vulcan Street. Use postcode TS2 1AD for sat navs.

It is a short, ten-minute walk from here to the stadium.

The drop-off and pick-up zone will be open before and after the concerts.

Alternatively, concert-goers are encouraged to use public transport where possible, with more info available here.

If parking and walking to the event, please park responsibly. Parking enforcement operatives will be on duty close to the stadium to maintain safe pedestrian routes and ensure carriageways are kept clear.

Parking for both events at Teesside University in Middlesbrough Town Centre can be pre-booked via The Big Parking here. More information about Middlesbrough car parks can be found here.

Use The Correct Entrance

Ticket holders are advised to take note of the Entrance Gate as indicated on their ticket. You will only be permitted access at the correct Entrance.

West Stand Seating, West Stand Accessible Seating and South Stand Seating use ENTRANCE 1, in the north west corner of the stadium adjacent to the River Tees. All hospitality ticket holders use a separate entrance closely adjacent to Entrance 1.

Pitch Standing use ENTRANCE 2, on the south side of the stadium, accessed via The Leeway.

East Stand Seating, East Stand Accessible Seating and South Stand Accessible seating use ENTRANCE 3, on the south side of the stadium, accessed via The Leeway.

All Entrances will be clearly signposted as you approach the stadium. Entrances open at 3.30pm.

Enjoy The Fan Villages

Enjoy the atmosphere in the build up to the shows in the Fan Villages, which are open from 3.30pm.

Located outside the west and east stands of the stadium, there are a variety of food and drinks stalls on offer.

There are no cash machines on site, and card payments at the stalls are preferred.

From 5pm, once entry to stadium itself is permitted, concourse food and drink outlets are also open, with ticket holders able to move freely between the stadium bowl and the Fan Villages.

A66 Access Closed After Event

Towards the end of each event, in the interest of road and pedestrian safety, there will be no access to the Riverside Stadium from the A66 in either direction.

If you are being collected by car, we strongly urge the driver to use the drop-off and pick-up zone as detailed above.
