Becky Ferguson is Boro Women's latest signing, joining from Championship side Newcastle on loan.

The forward earned two promotions on Tyneside and scored 21 goals in three seasons at the Championship club.

At just 19 years old, Becky has bags of potential and already has a good goalscoring record at this level.

An exciting coup to score a signing of a Championship player, Becky is lightning quick and a clinical finisher inside the box and no doubt will be looking to hit the ground running on Teesside.

On the signing, Michael Mulhern said "Becky is a player I’ve wanted to bring in from day one. She has bags of potential and I’m looking forward to working with her at Boro."

"She is a very talented player with an eye for goal and a signing I am really happy to get in through the door."

After putting pen to paper, Becky said "I'm really pleased to be joining Boro on loan. I wanted to join because I know the clubs' goals and I want to help achieve them while also improving my own game as I've seen the standard is amazing."

"I've heard many great things about Boro and I've seen that they are already off to a great start, it shows the progress the club has made in the last year or so and shows their ambition for the future."

Becky will wear the number 19 shirt and is eligible to play in this Sunday's Adobe WFA Cup tie against Wythenshawe.
