The lowdown on Boro Women's incoming signing, Becky Ferguson.

Hailing from Tyneside, Becky was born on 4 August 2005.

Becky began her football journey at 10, with her school team before joining her first grassroots team, Ponteland.

Her talents grew at Ponteland and earned her a spot in Sunderland's Regional Talent Centre at U12s level, where she stayed until the age of 16.

While playing and developing her game at Sunderland RTC, Becky also represented England schools and captained her side during her second season in the John Reid Trophy.

Becky has also earned caps for England Lionesses U17s, which she proudly says is her greatest achievement in her career so far.

Becky's speed and natural finishing talent impressed during her time at youth level and earned her a move into senior football.

At just 16 Becky, joined her first senior club in Newcastle where she would go on to make 50 appearances and score 15 times for the Magpies while earning two promotions in that time.
