It's back to PL2 action for Boro's Under-21s at Tottenham Hotspur on Friday lunchtime.
The game offers Mark Tinkler's side, who are level on points with Tottenham, an opportunity to pull clear of the bottom three in PL2.
Boro go into the game on the back of three straight wins.
Borussia Monchengladbach were beaten 3-2 at the Riverside in the PL International Cup, there was an emphatic 4-1 win at AFC Halifax Town in the National League Cup, and a single-goal triumph at Marske United in the North Riding Senior Cup.
Boro have been boosted by the return of midfielder Luke Woolston in recent weeks while the likes of George McCormick, Harley Hunt, Charlie Lennon and Fin Cartwright all have experience with the senior side.
