Eleven Boro players are set for international duty in the upcoming break from club action.
After winning his seventh senior cap during the last international break, Aidan Morris has been called up by Mauricio Pochettino to represent the USA in their upcoming friendlies. Pochettino will take charge for the first time as USMNT head coach when they face Panama and Mexico.
Two Boro players have also received call-ups by Australia. Riley McGree and Sammy Silvera, who is on loan at Portsmouth, could feature in the Socceroos' World Cup qualifiers against China and Japan. Tom Glover is on standby.
Hayden Hackney is in the England Under-21s squad for their upcoming UEFA European Championship qualifiers. Ben Futcher’s side will face Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Micah Hamilton is on standby.
Seny Dieng will be with the Senegal squad for a double-header of Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Malawi.
Ben Doak is with Scotland as they face Croatia and Portugal in the UEFA Nations League. In the same competition, Finn Azaz and the Republic of Ireland go to Finland and Greece.
Isaiah Jones and Anfernee Dijksteel could come up against each other again when Guyana travel to Suriname in the CONCACAF Nations League. Dijksteel’s Suriname also have a home fixture against Costa Rica while Jones and Guyana face Guatemala.
Rav van den Berg is part of the Netherlands' U21s squad for a friendly with Mexico and European Championship qualifier against Sweden.
Eric Hamelberg, meanwhile, has received a call-up to represent Portugal's U18s side.
