Three goals and three points for Boro Women under the lights.
The only change to the starting eleven that progressed in the WFA Cup on Sunday was Ruby Cook coming in for Laura Wareham in goal.
After a win in the WFA Cup on Sunday Boro looked to continue their good form and looked like they would in the early exchanges of the game.
Boro's first effort on goal came through a Sharna Wilkinson free-kick in a similar area to the one she put away fantastically on Sunday but on the opposite side, she cannoned on target but her effort was met by a good save.
Boro were knocking on the door in the opening 20 minutes, Maxwell had her close-range effort blocked well and just minutes later Ellen Turnbull hit an effort off the bar after cutting inside and beating the York fullback.
With shots saved, blocked and hit off the woodwork a Boro opener felt imminent, Towers thought she had got after heading at the back post but a clearance off the line denied her.
As a result of all the blocks and saves being made, Boro were getting plenty of corners and came close through Towers at the back post.
A set piece would be where Boro's opener came from as Millie Bell towered over everyone to head home a Robson cross and give Boro the lead they thoroughly deserved.
After the goal, Boro remained on top and bossed possession but couldn't double their lead before half-time.
In the second period, Boro began by carving York open without creating any shots on goal all of Giles, Turnbull and Towers all had great crosses into the box go unanswered in the search for a second goal.
They say you have to score when you are on top and Boro did just that, dominating the game, Robson took her chance to get a goal, beating the 'keeper with a shot from the right of the box.
Minutes later Robson got her second of the night, firing past the 'keeper from the edge of the box and to her right, adding to her impressive goal tally so far this season.
Three goals up, Michael Mulhern saw fit to make changes, bringing on Grace Boyes, Sarah Burn and Faye Dale for Packham, Wilkinson and Mett.
Burn nearly made a perfect introduction, as she won the ball with a strong tackle in midfield and fired a shot from range, just narrowly wide of the post.
Late on, Boro had a chance for a fourth as Turnbull was brought down in the box, winning Boro a penalty - she stepped over the spot kick but was denied by a good save from Sidwell.
One final change was made before full-time, as Emma Foster made her way onto the pitch for Keira Skelton.
Just before the final whistle blew, Boro had one last chance through Giles, as she bared down on goal she snapped at her chance and fired over the bar, keeping the score at 3-0.
The win secures another three points for Boro Women, solidifying their place at the top of the league.
