Zach Hemming played his part in the result of the day in the EFL last weekend.
Hemming was beaten just once in goal as Leyton Orient rattled four past previously unbeaten Stockport County on their own patch.
The win lifted Orient out of the bottom four in League One for the first time this season.
Sonny Finch's MK Dons also pulled off an impressive win when they beat Doncaster Rovers 1-0. The Boro man started on the bench before playing the final half-hour.
In the Championship, Sammy Silvera played 16 minutes as Portsmouth lost 2-1 at Burnley.
In Scotland, Queen of the South missed out on top spot in League One after they drew 0-0 at Stenhousemuir. Jack Hannah started for the Doonhamers and Pharrell Willis came off the bench for the last quarter-hour. Elsewhere, Terrell Agyemang missed Airdrie's 2-0 defeat at Morton.
