An injury time goal ensured a winning weekend across the board for the club.

With the first team and Under-21s securing victories the previous evening, Rob Jones' U18s made it a welcome hat-trick against Nottingham Forest at Rockliffe.

First-half goals from Eric Hamelberg and Addis Dore ensured Boro a 2-1 advantage going into the break, but the visitors hit back to make it 2-2 moments after the re-start.

Anton Palmer, who was an unused substitute with the first team for the first time at Blackburn the previous evening, restored Boro's lead on the hour-mark, but dogged Forest thought they had snatched a point when Shakir Samuels headed home 90 minutes into stoppage time.

Boro didn't give up, though, and Oliver Martin scored from a free-kick four minutes into stoppage time to secure a 4-3 victory.
