Zach Hemming and St Mirren secured a top-six finish in the Scottish Premiership for a third successive season.

Hemming saw his side claim all three points after Roland Idowu scored an 86th-minute winner in their 3-2 victory over Ross County.

Staying north of the border and Jack Hannah played a full 90 minutes in Queen of the South's 2-1 win against Montrose. The Doonhamers sit fourth in the table with three games to go. George Gitau didn't feature for Raith Rovers in their 1-1 draw with Airdrieonians.

In League One, Alex Gilbert was an unused substitute in Charlton Athletic’s 1-0 win at Cambridge United. As was Micah Hamilton in Stockport’s 3-1 win against Rotherham.

Across the pond, Lukas Engel and FC Cincinnati enjoyed a 1-0 win against DC United in MLS.

Elsewhere, Brayden Johnson made a late substitute appearance for Gateshead in a crucial 3-2 National League win against Forest Green Rovers.

In National League South, Pharrell Willis played 45 minutes as his Maidstone United side drew 0-0 with Weymouth. Nathan Simpson was a late sub in Spennymoor Town’s 2-0 defeat against Scunthorpe United in National League North.
