Sammy Silvera has been recalled from his loan spell at Portsmouth – and will now link up with Blackpool for the remainder of the season.

The Aussie international’s last run-out in a Pompey shirt was at Bristol City on December 29.

That was his first appearance in almost two months and overall he featured 12 times for Pompey, six of which were as a substitute.

The 24-year-old will now join League One side Blackpool in the hope of gaining more game time.

Earlier this season, Sammy played in Australia’s World Cup qualifier against Indonesia.

Sammy joined Boro in the summer of 2023, having signed from Central Coast Mariners.
