Fans are urged to arrive early to the game to avoid queues and congestion at the turnstiles.
- Fans must ensure their ticket is for the correct age category
- All fans under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied by an adult, both inside and outside of the stadium.
Concession Abuse Ticket Checks
Concession ticket checks will again be carried out at the Riverside on Tuesday evening.
Previous targeted ticket checks carried out in December resulted in a number of fans being escorted from the stadium after entering with tickets that did not accord with their status.
These included adults entering on children’s tickets and personal assistants entering without their disabled charge.
In these circumstances the club policy is to escort the person from the stadium and provide them with an opportunity to buy a new ticket at the appropriate price.
Concession abuse also carries a six-match suspension from the Riverside and a number of spectators have been issued with this ban.
Any supporter in possession of either a match ticket or a Season Ticket (either card or digital) must ensure that the ticket is appropriate for their age/status.
If they are in any doubt they should seek clarification from the Ticket Office ideally prior to arrival at the stadium or at one of the ticket offices when they arrive for a match.

Love Football. Protect The Game.
We support strong measures to help address unacceptable issues across the professional and grassroots game.
Fans are reminded that missile throwing and discriminatory chanting could lead to suspension and criminal proceedings being issued.
One individual was recently handed a three-year football banning order and costs of almost £1,000 following discriminatory chanting at the Chelsea game last season.
And a man was banned from attending football matches for five years and fined £2,000 after being found guilty of lighting a marine flare at the Riverside.
Fans should be aware that our stewards are now equipped with body cameras.
