Teenage prospect Brayden Johnson has completed a move to Boro from National League South club Eastbourne Borough.

The 18-year-old midfielder enjoyed a superb start to life at Eastbourne after joining in July 2024, making 22 appearances in the sixth tier.

The central midfielder, originally from London, signed for Eastbourne after being spotted playing for Newbury Forest further down the non-league pyramid.

Brayden’s meteoric rise has now continued after he put pen to paper on a professional deal with Boro.

He will now link up with Mark Tinkler's Under-21s side.
