Defender Matt Clarke has joined Derby County in a permanent move.
The 28-year-old joins the Championship strugglers for an undisclosed fee.
Matt, whose Boro contract was due to end this summer, made 51 appearances during his two-and-a-half years on Teesside.
Matt’s first season at the club was restricted to just six appearances due to a lengthy injury.
He made his comeback in November 2023 and went on to make 28 appearances during his second season.
This term he has featured 17 times for Michael Carrick’s side.
Matt is no stranger to Derby, having had two previous loan spells with the club. During those times he made 81 appearances for the East Midlands side.
Everyone at MFC would like to thank Matt for all his efforts and wish him well for the future.
