Boro Women got an emphatic three points with a 4-0 win over Stockport.
Michael Mulhern made one change to his starting 11 at Stockton, bringing in Ellen Turnbull for Georgia Gibson, with Kacie Elson missing out.
Armani Maxwell looked dangerous as she was aggressive in her play, taking on the fullback on multiple occasions and winning but lacked the end product.
Her front-foot play got Boro ahead, as she skinned her defender with some quick stepovers and won a corner, one that Lauren Robson would deliver into a rising Millie Bell who smashed the ball into the back of the net to give Boro the lead.
Minutes later Leanna Giles came close to doubling Boro's lead with Robson the architect once again, playing a great square ball inside the box but Giles' shot smashed off the post and out.
On top, Boro kept pushing with Robson at the heart of it, she saw a great run from Ellen Turnbull who was darting into the box, and when Robson played her in she shot first time, but it went off the side netting.
Boro would continue to dominate despite a stop-start affair and would get the second that they deserved just before the half-hour mark as Jess Mett won the ball high up she played to Robson in midfield who the slipped Maxwell through on goal who hit a composed finish into the bottom right corner to double Boro's advantage.
After creating Boro's two goals Robson had a chance of her own from a free-kick but the Stockport wall did its job, jumping to get in the way of her shot before Robson would fire the rebound over the bar.
Maxwell was a woman possessed in the first half and continued to look on top form, she once again would use some great footwork to get the better of her fullback before cutting in to shoot a whipped effort from outside the box that nestled beautifully into the back of the net for Boro's third and Maxwell's second of the day.
Just five minutes later Boro were four up, as Robson delivered a cross into the back post from a short corner Bell once again rose the highest, this time heading it across goal where Jess Mett was to fire the ball into the back of the net, giving Boro a four goal lead at half-time.
Boro stayed on top in the second half and nearly got a fifth goal as Mett and Abby Towers played a slick one-two before Towers crossed into Robson who hit backheel on target but it was deflected for a corner.
From the corner Maxwell came close to her hattrick, as she whipped the corner in it looked to be going into the back of the net but it just grazed the bar and nestled onto the roof of the net.
The woodwork denied Boro for the second time of the match as Robson delivered a free-kick into the back post, the keeper spilled it and Bell arrived to put it away but her shot smashed off the post.
Mett almost got her second as she won a footrace from Turnbull's pass but she shot wide of the post with bodies arriving in the box.
Bell could have had a hattrick on another day as she came close once again, as she flicked a cross form Maxwell just wide of the post.
Looking for more goals, Michael Mulhern made changes, bringing on Becky Ferguson and Georgia Gibson for Jess Mett and Lauren Robson, who both got great ovations after two top-notch performances.
With goal difference in mind, Boro continued to push and came close to scoring once again as Bell steered Towers' cross on target with a diving header, only being denied by a great save.
Keira Skelton was also denied by a good save as her volleyed effort bounced up and almost dipped past the 'keeper but a sprawling save tipped it over the bar.
That was the final action of the 90 and Boro Women got a deserved three points with an entertaining win.
