A series of challenges are set to take place to showcase the work of MFC Foundation in communities across Teesside.
Roary's Big Week, held annually, aims to highlight the experiences the Foundation's participants face daily which have a significant impact on their life aspirations. This year's theme is Roary's Challenges.
During the week, partners and supporters will raise vital funds to support the Foundation's delivery across key themes: Social Inclusion, Education and Employability, Health and Wellbeing.
We are looking for your support in creating and hosting your own challenges to help raise the profile of the Foundation alongside fundraising where possible. The more creative the challenge, the better, but you could try:
- A sponsored walk, run, cycle or swim – or all four?
- A sponsored silence – a day of peace from the office chatterbox?
- A swear jar – would that be a challenge for your team?
- A Wear Red for Roary Day – who can wear the most red?
As part of the week, you can also take part in Roary’s Treasure Hunt at Teesside Park with a chance to win a signed Boro shirt, tickets for Boro v Norwich, or a Riverside Stadium tour. From Saturday 29 March until Sunday 6 April, head to Teesside Park’s management centre and complete the treasure hunt. Entries cost £3 per sheet.
