Boro Women Under-23s will face York City LFC in the North Riding FA Women’s Cup Final on Sunday.

The match will take place at the Riverside Stadium, kicking off at 2.30pm. 

Matt Gatiss' side will look to add more silverware to their season after winning the FAWNL Reserve Northern Division earlier this year. 

York City Ladies are the current holders of the cup after beating Thornaby 10-0 in the final last year. This year, the Minsterbelles have beaten Northallerton Town Women and Redcar Athletic Ladies in the quarter and semi-finals respectively in two high-scoring wins to reach the final. 

The U23s had a walkover win in the second round, before defeating Redcar Town Ladies 6-0 in the quarter-finals. Securing their place in the final with a 4-0 home win against York City Ladies’ Development side.

Ticket prices are £5 for adults and £2 for U16s and 65+, with tickets on sale on the afternoon from 1pm at the Main West Stand Ticket Office 

Car parking is also available at a rate of £2 per car. Payment on entry is available, and MFC Seasonal Passes will be valid for this fixture.

North Riding FA is encouraging all supporters to arrive at the Riverside as early as possible to purchase tickets.
