The club are pleased and proud to announce the re-launch of Middlesbrough Disabled Supporters Association (MDSA24).

After many open discussions and steering meetings over the last year an Annual General Meeting (AGM) is planned to launch the Middlesbrough Disabled Supporters Association 24.  The meeting of the AGM will be in the Legends lounge at the West Stand of the Riverside on Monday 7 July 2025, between 7pm and 9pm.

The aim of MDSA24 is to empower disabled supporters and amplify voices, to break down barriers, to enable a positive matchday experience, and to unite all supporters by encouraging awareness and education for those who are not disabled.

“This is a very exciting opportunity for the club to work closer with our disabled supporters on key policy issues and updating facilities,” says the club's disability liaison officer Rosemary Berks.

“Having this link will allow us to target projects specifically to our supporters’ needs and work towards improving fan experiences.”

Supporters are welcome to attend the AGM and participate by firstly expressing a firm interest prior to the meeting (via our social media website/Facebook) and joining as an MDSA24 member.

The AGM will be ticketed for members who demonstrate a prior intent to attend in person. Members will also be able to attend the meeting virtually if they cannot attend the venue in person.

MDSA24 has been working alongside Level Playing Field which is a registered charity in England and Wales, and acts as an advisory organisation to its membership and other parties across all sports.

Also, at the meeting there is a chance to meet members of the Middlesbrough Disabled supporters steering committee. They will be at the meeting to discuss matters affecting supporters and share feedback. This also provides fans with an opportunity to have an informed conversation on the remit of the MDSA24 and how it serves as a representative body for disabled supporters.

Membership of MDSA24 is £5 per year and you can join here.
