Hailing from Florida, Aidan was born on 16 November 2001. 

The young American started his football career at Weston Academy before joining the Columbus Crew Academy in 2017. 

He spent time on loan to Indiana Hoosiers in 2019. After his loan spell he was promoted to the Columbus Crew first team and made his debut on 11 July 2020. The 22-year-old made 11 appearances for the club in the 2020 season and became the youngest player to start in the MLS Cup. 

After an ACL injury sidelined Aidan in 2021, he bounced back and made 27 appearances in the 2022 campaign.

His best season came in 2023 in which he grabbed his first goal for the club against Atlanta United and he would go onto score four goals from midfield in 30 league appearances, helping the club lift the MLS Cup at the end of that season.

Aidan left Columbus Crew with six assists in the season, making it 15 assists during his time in MLS.

The midfielder also made appearances for the United States Under-18 and Under-20 sides before making his senior debut against Serbia in 2023. 

Aidan is known for his athleticism and aggressive style of play while also being a very intelligent defensive midfielder.

He has impressive defensive awareness while also being recognised for his excellent work rate on and off the ball.
