Lukas was born in Kastrup, a southern suburb of Copenhagen where the city’s airport is situated.

His football career started out with Kastrup Boldklub, where he was a prolific goalscoring winger.

From there, he joined second tier Fremad Amager, where he continued to score goals as he clocked up almost a century of appearances.

It was at Fremad where he was called up for the Danish U21 side.

He joined Danish Superliga club Vejie, making his his debut in February 2021 and going on to play 34 times for them in the top division.

The following January he was loaned to Silkeborg IF before making the move permanent during the summer of 2022.

Lukas completed a move to Boro in August 2023 and racked up 41 appearances in all competitions in his first season.

The defender scored twice and tallied three assists across the campaign, with his first goal coming in a 3-1 win away at Millwall.
