Bio

  • Middlesbrough-born Sol has been with the club’s Academy since 2009.
  • The goalkeeper has attended England training camps and made good progress through our U18s and was part of the U23s scene for the 2018/19 season.
  • During the 2018/19 campaign, he made 13 appearances with our U18s and one with the 23s.
  • Sol stepped up to U23 level for the 2019/20 campaign, and was also included on the bench for our FA Cup ties against Tottenham Hotspur.
  • He was included in Boro's squad for a league game for the first time in the 2020/21 season, for games against Birmingham and Wycombe.
  • Sol joined Queen of the South on a season-long loan for 2021/22.
  • For the 2022/23 campaign, Sol joined Swindon Town in League Two.
