Bio

Like many girls, Abby Robson began playing for her local boys' team at a young age before playing for her first women's team, Boldon, at age nine and also playing for Sunderland County during this time.

At Boldon Abby was utilised as a midfielder, winning multiple youth tournaments in the process.

Moving to Teesside RTC at 13 Abby would find her place in defence before signing for Middlesbrough at 16.

Abby won her first senior silverware at Middlesbrough, winning the County Cup with the reserve squad.

Despite her small stature Abby impressed in defence, making her debut against Huddersfield and going on to play every remaining game in that season.

In 2022 Abby won the county cup for the second time while also clocking the most minutes for any outfield player, being involved in almost every game.
