Bio

Fran started her football journey at the age of four following her brother and like many, playing for Boro Soccer Schools boys team in local and national tournaments.

Boro Soccer Schools was the beginning of Fran's development as a young footballer before moving on to Acklam Boys Club as she struggled to find an all-girls team.

Fran would stay at Acklam for two years until the age of eight when she would join Boro Rangers Girls - a place where she would meet fellow Boro Women starlet Amber Rodgers.

At the age of ten, Fran entered her first trial at Teesside RTC U11s Girls. An impressive trial landed her a spot in the Reigonal Talent Centre where she went on to play for seven years.

Fran's ambition and talent were soon spotted and got her a spot playing for Cleveland County between the ages of 12-16.

During her final year of junior football at the RTC Fran also represented Middlesbrough Women's Reserves from September to April.

Frans's development saw her make her first team debut for Middlesbrough Women's first team at just 16, bagging a goal on her debut in a crucial match.
