How to watch or listen to matches with Boro LIVE at mfc.co.uk
- Visit Boro LIVE.
- Login to your MFC Digital Account.
- If you haven't already, purchase a match pass from the available packages.
- Once purchased you will be directed to a 'Payment Successful' page.
- Revisit Boro LIVE and click on the 'Live' tab.
- Make sure you are still logged in to your MFC Digital Account.
- The featured live game at the top of the page will now display buttons indicating that you have successfully purchased a subscription (eg 'Video Purchased: Available Soon').
- For weekend fixtures, 'Watch Live' and 'Listen Live' buttons will appear from around 60 minutes before kick-off. For midweek fixtures, the 'Watch Live' and 'Listen Live' buttons will appear from around 45 minutes before kick-off.
Alternatively, you can watch or listen using the official Middlesbrough FC App. Subscriptions must be purchased first via mfc.co.uk.
Which matches are available for live streaming?
As part of the new Sky Sports agreement with the EFL, video streaming is not available to UK supporters through Boro LIVE for any match this season.
Overseas supporters can watch eligible matches in the Sky Bet Championship:
- Matches which are not selected for Sky Sports 'Front Channel' coverage or for international broadcast are available in all overseas countries.
- Weekend matches which are selected for Sky Sports 'Front Channel' coverage or for international broadcast are only available in 'Unsold Markets' (where there is no EFL broadcast agreement in place) or countries where the designated broadcaster elects not to show the match. See the 'Unsold Markets' FAQ for more details.
- Midweek matches which are selected for Sky Sports 'Front Channel' coverage or for international broadcast are only available in 'Non-Core Territories'. See the 'Non-Core Territories' FAQ for more details.
Audio commentary is available worldwide for all competitive first team fixtures, also including the Carabao Cup and Emirates FA Cup.

When will the live video/audio start before a match?
For weekend fixtures the live streams (video and/or audio) will begin around 60 minutes before kick off.
For midweek fixtures the live streams (video and/or audio) will begin around 45 minutes before kick off.
What are the system requirements?
Your device needs to comply with the following minimum system requirements:
- Operating Systems: Windows 8.1 or later, Mac 9+
- Browsers: latest versions of Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari (Internet Explorer and Opera are not supported)
- Mobiles And Tablets Operating Systems: Android 6+, iOS 9+

What are the internet connection requirements?
You will require a WiFi or broadband internet connection with a minimum download speed of 1.2mbps with latency not exceeding 100ms for Standard Definition (SD), and 4mbps with latency not exceeding 50ms for High Definition (HD).
